1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Beermatz, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Beermatz is a web application for discovering and tracking pub visits in London. We provide tools to log visits, write reviews, and track your pub journey.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use this service

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (reviews, photos). By posting, you grant us a license to display and store that content as part of the service. This license ends when you delete your account, at which point that content is erased. The anonymous visit and rating records described in section 6 are not user content and are retained.

You agree not to post content that is:

• Illegal or promotes illegal activity
• Defamatory, harassing, or threatening
• Spam or misleading
• Infringing on others' intellectual property

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated systems to scrape or access the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without permission

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

You may delete your account at any time from your account page. Your account is closed immediately and your personal data, including your reviews, comments and photos, is permanently erased 7 days later. Deletion cannot be undone and we cannot restore an account or its content afterwards.

A record of which pubs were visited, when, and how they were rated is retained in anonymous form, detached from your account. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee the accuracy of pub information, opening hours, or user reviews.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
